Requirements for REAL Envelope Stuffing Jobs...
Envelope Stuffing Jobs and other mail processing jobs vary from job to job, but if you want to do REAL envelope stuffing work without getting scammed, here's what you'll need:
- Reliable transportation to carry work from employer to your home, and back. Open pick ups usually not acceptable.
- A strong back and body. You'll have to lift heavy boxes of paper and other materials, and you'll lift them first to your car, then out of your car and into your home, then out of your home and back to your car, and then out of your car and back to your employer's office. Just one box of paper can easily weight 25-50 pounds. The bigger the job, the more weight you'll have to lift. This is a very physically demanding job!
- The ability and health to be able to sit and work for long periods of time working with your hands, sometimes in uncomfortable positions. That means good back, shoulders, arms, hands, wrists, etc.
- Ability to meet deadlines. Sometimes professional envelope stuffers work through the night!
- Willingness to pay your own taxes. Most envelope stuffers are independent contractors.
- Willingness to work for modest wages. Envelope stuffing and similiar work pays quite modestly... the faster you are the more it is worth to you per hour.
Legitimate envelope stuffing work will never cost
you any money to start.
But given all its requirements and challenge, envelope stuffing is -- afterall -- simple work that can be done in teams for extra money while working in front of the television. Not too many jobs can beat that.
